Therapeutic Philosophy for Wisdom Seekers
Holistic and wellbeing practitioners are usually already on a committed path of personal or spiritual growth themselves, by the very nature of the work that they do.
My therapeutic philosophy services aim to support the personal and spiritual development of people who are working in the healing professions. By helping them to explore the mind-body connection on a deeper level, applying these insights into their own life and professional practice, and embarking on a path of self-realization.
My services here explore the relationship between wisdom and wellbeing, and focus primarily on these topics:
- Wellbeing – how health is impacted by every aspect of life – including relationships, beliefs, personal experiences, life skills, and emotional resilience.
- Consciousness – how our interpretation of consciousness impacts our approach to mind-body therapies, healing, life, death, identity, and wellness.
- Philosophy – how our wellbeing is influenced by other people, situations, beliefs, cultural expectations, and the wider world in which we live.
- Spirituality – how spirituality or religious beliefs can impact our wellbeing, and how the primacy of consciousness influences our approach to health.
- Healing – how therapeutic interventions work, how they can impact the body’s natural healing abilities, and how they are influenced by other factors like cultural norms, expectations, and belief systems.
There is so much confusion around the topics of mind, spirituality, holism, and healing – often without people even having any awareness of the actual problem.
This pathway aims to help holistic, spiritual, and wellbeing practitioners to find the answers they are seeking on their own personal journey. To clarify their own therapeutic philosophy, and to integrate it into their own life. Then to share these insights with the people that they serve in their wellbeing practice.
The Journey of Self-Realization
The journey of self-realization involves ever-deepening insights into the nature of who you really are. This is not a process of acquiring more knowledge. It is a process of un-learning everything that you know, until you can access the deepest core of your being on an experiential level.
There are 3 levels of mind-body wisdom to work through:
Individual – getting to know the holistic nature of the personal self, and how our wellbeing is impacted by life events and experiences.
Collective – becoming more aware of how we relate to the world around us, and developing insights into the inter-connectedness of life.
Existential – exploring the primacy of consciousness, our personal identity, and how this relates to mind, spirituality, and health.
This group of services is for wellbeing practitioners who are also wisdom seekers. It’s for anyone who is on a genuine path of awakening, wants to know how spirituality relates to consciousness, has existential questions about life, death, or suffering, or who is on a personal journey of self-realization through health.
My therapeutic philosophy services are currently focused on 1-1 coaching and therapies to support personal evolution, spiritual awakening, and self-realization.
